Ophthalmic Technicians

Duties and Responsibilities: Ophthalmic technicians or technologists help ophthalmologists collect data and measurements to allow the correct diagnosis and treatment of eye disease and problems.

Salary: $14,000-$25,000

Education: Students will need a high school diploma or GED certificate and two years of college prior to beginning ophthalmic training programs.
